LOCAL PLANNING POLICY DP25 – DESIGN REVIEW
Notice is hereby given that Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 28 October 2024 resolved to endorse ‘Local Planning Policy DP24 – Complex Applications’ (DP24) and ‘Local Planning Policy DP25 – Design Review’ (DP25), pursuant to Clause 4 of the Deemed Provisions of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
The purpose of DP24 is to identify complex applications for the purpose of allowing meaningful community participation and ensure a transparent approach in advertising complex applications.
The purpose of DP25 is to outline when Design Review will be required, to improve quality of new development and encourage principles of good design throughout the City.
