RYDE Program Karratha
Young people needing help to complete their 50 hours of supervised driving experience may be eligible for the Regional Youth Driver Education (RYDE) program.
Following the program’s success across the state, the RYDE program is now available for our young people. The program connects learner drivers aged 16 to 25 years with volunteer mentors to complete their 50 hours of supervised driving experience, as they work toward gaining their drivers' licence.
The program is administered by Robe River, with the City’s Youth Services centres providing the program locally.
