The annual event is the biggest celebration of young people and in the Western Australia youth calendar and will run from 14 April – 21 April 2023.

This year’s theme is ‘’Becoming: with others we dream’’ and focusses on how young people can dream themselves a better world, and then use their skills, love, care, and knowledge to bring others up with them to help realise it.

“Youth Week is one of a number of initiatives the City is engaged in to empower and support the growth of our young people,” Cr Nunn said.

“Personal development and empowerment & advocacy are two key priority areas for action in the City’s Youth Strategy, which align with this year’s theme “Becoming: with others we dream’’ and the activities planned.”
